Three Donegal Artists to Perform in Boston
Kate O’Callaghan has told Fanrealm that she and 2 other artists from Donegal, Finbarr Doherty and Seamus Devenny will be appearing in Boston in September.
Their trip is sponsored Culture Ireland which is a state agency that promotes Irish artists to the world.
They will be playing an informal music session in The Druid, 1357 Cambridge Street on Monday 20th September @ 10pm
They will also be part of Ry Cavanaugh’s Sessions Americana series, in which artists perform in small, intimate settings like pubs or coffee houses. The artists and the audience are very close so the audience is able to experience the performance in a way that isn’t possible at larger venues. The Sessions Americana gigs will take place at The Lizard Lounge in Cambridge on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd September at 8.30pm.
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a wonderful musical experience and those in the Greater Boston/Cambridge area should really try to catch one of these performances to hear and see music created in a very personal format.
