August is a great month for festivals and some of the best all year take place then. Sadly, a few festivals have had to cancel this year as times are really tough. That is why it is so important to support your favorite festivals. You will never find more musical entertainment and great activities in one place than you will at a festival. You can’t beat the bargain especially right now when we all have to pinch every penny. There are at least three on this list I would go to if I could, especially the one in Dublin, Ohio. Almost all my favorite bands will be at that one so I urge anyone who can get to that one to go you just won’t find more value for your entertainment dollar anywhere.

Charlotte Irish Summer Festival Aug 13 – 14 Kick off at Connolly’s on 5th St. on the 13th Festivities on the 14th will take place at 3rd & Tryon St. Charlotte NC Noon – 9:00 PM Activities all day long GAA football demo, Bagpiping, traditional music and dancing.
