Danny Boy is my favourite too. i think Hayley Griffiths version on her latest album Celtic Rose is simply stunning.

I was at this concert and Sons of Sylvia ROCKED!!! These guys play hard moving rock and roll as well as beautiful slow ballads – interspersed with very, very fast blue grass – with equal ease. They are masters of their instruments making intricate lead parts on mandolin, fiddle or resonator guitar look easy. I have been a fan of them since NGAB (Next Great American Band) where, under the name of The Clark Brothers, they beat out thousands of other bands to have bestowed on them the title of Next Great American Band – and I do believe they are on their way to proving they deserve that title. Give them a listen! You won’t regret it.

Very good review, and I agree with what you wrote about the photography policy. I just saw the band for the first time, and that recording was a turnoff. I understand that flash photography during a show is disruptive and annoying, but photos on stage at the end of the show would have been nice.
