Meet Skerryvore

I have recently become a fan of Skerryvore so I thought I would share them here. They are a great Celtic Rock band from Glasgow, Scotland

Band members Alec Dalglish, Daniel Gillespie, Martin Gillespie, Craig Espie, Fraser West and Barry Caulfield got together in 2004 and have released two cds. Their first one, titled West Coast Life was a collection of traditional song performed in their high energy stile. Their current cd, On The Road has more original music. This one is being launched tonight. Tickets can be found here: www.ticketweb.co.uk or 0844 477 2000 also see poster at the right.

Their cds can be purchased through their website http://www.skerryvore.com/store/index.aspx They accept PayPal and Paypal will handle the currency conversion for you.

Skerryvore tours internationally and has wowed audiences from Chicago to Bejing appearing at festivals, concerts and on television. They look forward to their debut appearances in Oman, Spain and Bahrain as well as returning to Holland, Denmark and the US. I will update as needed so fans in North America can catch this exciting band in concert.

Here is a sample of their music. Enjoy!
